Who’s that going over my bridge!
by A warbler a day
Last night I went for one of my after-work walks around Rooksbury Mill. As I walked I noticed a group of people looking intently in the river from the bridge between the 2 lakes. I was told that an Otter was hiding (in a troll like fashion) under the bridge, occasionally poking its head out. After a couple of minutes the Otter swam upstream giving good views as it munched on something small. Then looking downstream another 3 Otters, mum and 2 kits, pulled themselves on to the bank before heading up the gunnel into Mill Lake. They really do know how to put on a show do the Rooksbury Otters!
