Damsels at Rooksbury

by A warbler a day

Finally the Damselflies are out at Rooksbury Mill, particularly on Mill Lake. There was good number of Blue-tails, mostly immature males, plus the odd Azure and Common Blue. Apart from the damselflies there was little else of interest, just a few Orange Tip butterflies, a rather battered looking Comma and faded Green Carpet moth. Hopefully this warm weather will last and more interesting insects will emerge.
