A flock of finches
by A warbler a day
I stopped by Charlton Lakes to eat my lunch today. This is another of my regular Andover haunts. As I had a brief stroll I saw a flock of 30-40 finches circling over the trees, occasionally dropping down to feed in the upper branches. I was pleased to find on closer inspection that in amongst the Goldfinches were a few Siskins, which are always nice to find.
